Ducted Air Conditioning Systems Are Great for Climate Control at Home

by Olivia Morris

In order to remain cool in the home, air conditioning systems play an important role in relieving homeowners from hot and humid summer weather. There are various types of air conditioning units that are used in the home. To make sure that you keep multiple rooms in the house cool and comfortable, ducted air conditioning systems come in handy.

Ducted air conditioning systems work by channeling air into multiple rooms through a series of ducts and vents. Each room in the home has an inlet that is located either on the roof, along the walls, or on the floor. These inlets connect to a network of ducts that are in turn connected to the central air conditioning unit.

When the unit is turned on, cool air is channeled into multiple rooms of the home at the same time. There are many benefits that ducted air conditioning systems provide to homeowners.

Cool air to the entire home

The ducted system design is an efficient solution for the home. The entire property can remain cool whenever the AC is running. You no longer have to worry about different rooms having different temperatures at any given time.

If you're relaxing in the living room and decide it's time for bed, you will walk into a room that is at the same temperature as the living room.

Convenient to control

Ducted air conditioning systems are conveniently controlled via a centralized thermostat. You can set the home to be held at a specific temperature, or create zones in the home if you would want to vary the temperature settings in each room.

In fact, most ducted units allow you to set up 6 different zones within the home. All these options can be automatically programmed into the thermostat to reduce setup times.

Quiet operation

Most ducted systems have a quiet and discrete operation. As opposed to other systems that channel air in a noisy manner anytime they're turned on, ducted air conditioning systems operate in a very quiet manner and cause minimal disturbance.

 Even air distribution

A ducted air conditioning system is able to balance the air that it channels to each room in the home and to provide each space with an equal amount of cool air. This allows for standard temperature across the entire home. It also prevents a spike in utility bills by having certain areas in the home not getting cool enough.

About Me

Replacing Sensors on Your HVAC System

Welcome to my blog which covers a wide range of HVAC topics. I'm Josh and I live in Perth, Australia. I never really used to think about the HVAC system in my home. I believed that when it was hot the HVAC system would cool me down and when it was cold it would warm my house up. However, all that changed one day when the HVAC system went crazy. It began to blow hot air into my house on the warmest day of the year. The contractor I called out said that one of the sensors had broken. He explained how I could better maintain my HVAC system so I decided to start this blog.
